Through homeowner clients, SHAPE was responsible for this project start to finish. After pitching a raw masonry wall detailed with raked joints, designing an adjoining dual gate solution that worked for each client was the mission. We worked through our process to provide a drawing from our 3d model to visually communicate what this gate would look like. Venturing from any off-the-shelf solutions we machined, laser cut and fabricated everything you see in-house at SHAPE. With enclosed angular contact roller bearings and tolerances typically seen in aerospace this gate is smooth in its operation and raw in its aesthetics. A desirable characteristics for those subject to quality bias. 😊
